You can reach Rovereto by car from the A22 Brennero motorway (tollgate of Rovereto Nord) and follow the signs for Schio / Vicenza through the Pian delle Fugazze Pass (SP 46 del Pasubio): over the pass, descend for 5 km towards Schio and you reach the Rifugio Balasso
Arriving from the Veneto region
Leaving the Valdastico A31 motorway (tollgate of Piovene Rocchette) follow the signs for Schio and then for Rovereto (SP 46 del Pasubio) in the direction of Passo Pian dell Fugazze
